Does Prodeo cost money?
No. Prodeo Academy schools are tuition-free, open-enrollment charter schools that provide a college preparatory education.
Which grades does Prodeo Academy serve?
In the 2024-25 school year, Prodeo's Columbia Heights campus serves scholars PreK through 8th grade. Prodeo's St. Paul campus offers PreK 7th grade. St. Paul will add 8th grade for the 2025-26 school year.
What are the hours of the school day?
Arrival begins at 7:20 AM, student are tardy if they are not in their classroom by 7:35 AM and dismissal begins at 2:20 PM.
How old does my child have to be to attend Prodeo?
Pre-K Eligibility
- Students must be four years old by September 1 to be eligible for Pre-K.
Kindergarten Eligibility
- Students must be five years old by September 1 to be eligible for kindergarten.
First Grade Eligibility
- Students must be six years old by September 1 or have completed kindergarten. Mid-year enrollees must meet the age requirement or be currently enrolled in first grade in another public or private school.
Does my child need to be immunized to attend Prodeo?
State law (MS 121A.15) requires that each student in a Minnesota school be protected from childhood diseases by receiving immunizations. Parents may obtain a legal exemption for medical reasons or conscientious beliefs. All students new to Prodeo Academy must submit their immunization records or exemption record when they enroll in school.
Will my scholar receive transportation?
