Does Prodeo cost money?
No. Prodeo Academy schools are tuition-free, open-enrollment charter schools that provide a college preparatory education.
Which grades does Prodeo Academy serve?
Prodeo Academy St. Paul Campus serves grades Pre-K through 8th Grade, and Prodeo Academy Columbia Heights serves grades Kindergarten through 8th Grade.
What are the hours of the school day?
Arrival begins at 7:20 AM; students are tardy if they are not in their classroom by 7:35 AM; and dismissal begins at 2:20 PM.
How old does my child have to be to attend Prodeo?
Pre-K Eligibility
- Students must be four years old by September 1 to be eligible for Pre-K.
Kindergarten Eligibility
- Students must be five years old by September 1 to be eligible for kindergarten.
First Grade Eligibility
- Students must be six years old by September 1 or have completed kindergarten. Mid-year enrollees must meet the age requirement or be currently enrolled in first grade in another public or private school.
Does my child need to be immunized to attend Prodeo?
State law (MS 121A.15) requires that each student in a Minnesota school be protected from childhood diseases by receiving immunizations. Parents may obtain a legal exemption for medical reasons or conscientious beliefs. All students new to Prodeo Academy must submit their immunization or exemption records when they enroll.
Will my scholar receive transportation?
