Does Prodeo cost money?

No. Prodeo Academy schools are tuition-free, open-enrollment charter schools that provide a college preparatory education.

 

Which grades does Prodeo Academy serve?

In the 2020-21 school year, Prodeo's Columbia Heights campus serves scholars pre-kindergarten through 7th grade. Prodeo's St. Paul campus will offer pre-kindergarten through 3rd grade.

 

How old does my child have to be to attend Prodeo?

Children must be four years old on or before September 1, 2020, to qualify for the pre-kindergarten program during the 2020-21 school year. Children who are five years old on or before September 1, 2020, are eligible to attend kindergarten during the 2020-21 school year. 

 

Does my child need to be immunized to attend Prodeo?

State law (MS 121A.15) requires that each student in a Minnesota school be protected from childhood diseases by receiving immunizations. Parents may obtain a legal exemption for medical reasons or conscientious beliefs. All students new to Prodeo Academy must submit their immunization records or exemption record when they enroll in school. 

 

Will my scholar receive transportation?
Scholars whose transportation address is within the transportation boundary map of their school will receive a stop within 0.33 miles of their address. Students whose transportation address is outside of the boundary will be assigned to the nearest stop WITHIN the school transportation boundary. To see our bus boundaries, click here.
